Computer Thoughts

My PC has died.

Lightning struck.

Words, photographs,

my past, all gone.

Will it go the way of all outmoded computers?

Or will it be resurrected

like Christ?

After all it’s not the body

that matters but what it holds

that universe of thoughts

that makes each of us unique.

And in Christ’s case that certainly

did not die.

P.S. Neither did my computer.
